Welcome to Little Genii Puppets!

Come to The Black Cow, Croton-on-Hudson, on October 30th at 6 p.m. to see
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for shadow puppets!  Come in Costume!

Also at 3rd Universe Comics, Croton-on-Hudson on October 31st at 1 and 6 p.m.

Get ready for pictures of the new production The King and the Crow!  Building the Crow has been a  challenge, but the new Story Book Theater is coming along quite well.  It is an intimate space marionette setting shaped like a giant book, for one person shows.  So much is going on in the studio this season--stay tuned!--Jan

Ondine, and her new companion, Godzilla, made a splash at the 2024 Coney Island Mermaid Parade. Read the article from BrooklynPaper.
Scroll down the page to see a neat photo of Ondine and Pirate Dave, and read the interview.

We also appear in a bunch of YouTube videos of the event, such as this one (go to 26:04 to see us)

Our first theatrical puppet - the Ghost of Christmas Future

Named "Ishmael" by our puppet crew during his construction, this seven foot tall one-person puppet with built-in lighting effects was operated on stage by our own David Aiello for five performances of "A Christmas Carol - A Story of Hope" produced at the Yorktown Stage this past Thanksgiving weekend.
You can catch an upcoming performance during the second run of the musical on December 26 - 31 2021. It's a terrific show - don't miss it!

News from National Puppetry Festival

Back again in New York after a weeklong adventure with puppeteers from all over the country, and other nations.  We experienced an inviting and generous culture of craftspeople devoted to the ancient storytelling urge.  Pictures and stories to follow.
