Long ago there was a puppet, formless and silent, that came to life in a child, me. When there was confusion or fear, the puppet re-ordered the world into a manageable bite, something I could chew on and digest. We grew up together, the puppet and I, forever joined at the frontal lobe. Our creative story is set at the kitchen table, at the center of everything, where ideas are tasted, new recipes pondered, and the feast of the everyday is re-discovered by lamplight. We speak from the heart, the puppet and I. We do not blink. We look for the news of this world in the footprint of the next. And when we meet, we will recognize the Other as one of Us, the Puppet Tribe. See you there.
